well that took a while :) 8 days and 23 hours to be precisely approximate.
took a lot of pictures when we were stuck here for the first 4 days; the rest of it was spent driving a lot and alternating staying with my adopted family in branson with living in motel rooms there.
lots of trees got trimmed by the weight of ice. will post photographic records of those first four days as soon as i get 'em organized. quite an intriguing progression as each wave of the storm passed through.
our pocketbook is happy with the return to normalcy... i am relieved, but already a tad nostalgic now that the adventure has come to a close :)
